Meeting the Team
Today we woke up a bit later and then went down for breakfast. We hung out at the hotel as long as possible and then headed to the airport to meet the rest of the team. I thought I needed to get a picture with mounties while I was in Canada and this was the best I could do! Little by little everyone arrived, and we sat down to a great lunch. We met the scientists Chris and Christina and their very large dog Lycos. Here's a question. What does Lycos mean in Latin? He was very tired and slept most of the two hour drive to Cherry Hill. We're staying in a renovated farm house. I'll be sure to put up a picture of it soon. This is my room for the next two weeks, and my roommate Sue from Phoenix, AZ. We had a meeting to discuss what we'll do everyday (I'll post that schedule daily), dinner, and then we did an introduction. I'm with a very interesting and diverse group. I'm sure we're not only going to learn a lot together, we're going to have a lot of fun! This is Chris one of the scientists letting us know what we'll be doing. We're finishing out the night relaxing, answering email and blogging. Be sure to check back for updates and pictures as I start my adventure in Nova Scotia!
I didn't forget, Braeden. Happy birthday! I hope it was a wonderful day!
